Infinity Pit at Spook Alley Haunted Attraction
Just goes to show the limitless uses for our safe and lightweight Mirrorlite™ glassless mirrors. Here they are being used for special effects at a Halloween haunted attraction. The zero distortion image creates the illusion of a bottomless pit. Try doing this with acrylic or glass mirrors!

Here's an email from our customer describing how the Mirrorlite™ glassless mirrors were utilized inside his haunted attraction.
"Adam,
I've been building an annual haunted house for as long as I can remember. Each year it gets a little bigger. A few years ago had to start renting a storage unit to store all my stuff. It takes me about 7-10 days to frame in my garage and deck ( my garage is huge) so i take off work at the end of october to get it all done. I do it for free so all the neighborhood kids have a fun, safe place to hang out on halloween. We have hundreds and hundreds of families come each year.
The room I used the mirrors for is the infinity pit. In the past I've used real glass mirrors but they are much more difficult to mount given their weight. The glassless mirrors and much lighter so I was able to install them without assistance. The walls are made of 2'' Owens Corning foam insulation, textured with a blow torch and painted to look like stone. If the pattern is laid out properly the mirrors are undetectable, and gives the illusion of a bottomless pit. This is the same techniques that george lucas used in his star wars movies.
The bridge is made with two 2x10s cut at an arch with trex decking on the top.The arch increases the sense of depth perception over the pit. The vertigo it induces is so intense that many people can't bring themselves to cross the bridge without assistance. Some wont do it at all.
This room is a fun part of the haunted house and is alway on people seem to talk about a lot.
